Hackney RFC’s John Young’s memorial event will be held on Saturday 21st August. I’m sure the last few months have been difficult, with the sad news of John’s passing and the current regulations meaning we couldn’t gather together as a community in these trying times. We are hoping that this event will give an opportunity to get together in memory and celebration of John’s life. We’ll be running men’s and women’s 10s tournaments with Hackney teams competing against special guest teams. They'll be an afternoon bar and BBQ at Spring Hill. So everyone is welcome to come down and catch up with some old faces. There's also rumours of a men's vets 10-a-side stand alone game (under 35s need not apply, you'll spoil the fun with your athleticism). Any questions contact shaun@hackneyrfc.co.uk
