We Are A Community

A large part of our club ethos is  we are part of something bigger than ourselves, be it our club,our sport or our local community.

 

Whenever possible,however we’re able, we give back to that community. A key component of this is our Community Outreach Team. Our Community Outreach team secured national recognition by being awarded the RFU President’s XV Award for Social Inclusion in 2011. Since then, we've built the largest women's rugby squad and one of the largest junior teams in London.

 

We have been running rugby festivals with Hackney Youth (the sport wing of Hackney Council), bringing rugby to school's across the borough, and establishing rugby programmes in Youth clubs in partnership with London Youth and Hackney Youth.
