The return of Hackney RFCs Tinman competition got off to a superb start on Saturday night with a great turnout and some excellent bowling. Taking the glory was Matt Hanton who managed to bag himself a turkey and a superb score of 153. Ben Chamberlain came second and picked up the cash prize for most spares bowled (5) with a tally of 128 and Jon williams came in third with 113.
Honourable mentions go to Glenn Prowse who somehow managed to bowl into the next lane, Mathieu Arneguy & Fiona Booth for having the most eccentric techniques and Dan Aylward who bowled admirably on his last Hackney social before leaving to seek pastures new.
With 3 events remaining it's all up for grabs as the Search continues for HRFC's Tinman 2011/12. Next up is Pub Golf!
